A little about me..

I first established Kaptured by Katie in October 2021 when my son was 1 year old. After 13 years in retail, I wanted to be able to create a life where I could spend more time with my two young children and share in my own family’s special moments. I wanted to be able to put my artistic side to work, capture & share in all the best moments of others and give them beautiful memories to hang on their walls to look back on.

I always knew i wanted to get into Wedding Photography, but wanted to be sure i was equipped to capture such an important day.

In August 2023, i was lucky enough that i was given the opportunity to shoot my very first wedding, and i haven’t looked back since. The weddings keep rolling in and they are my absolute favourite. I have since been able to purchase a new camera and lens & you can see from my 2 most recent weddings the difference that has made.
